Chop chop!

I cut a wig today. Not one of my expensive ones, of course. Despite my terrible inexperience, I think I did a pretty good job. :)

Just a small thing, but....

I have decided to include ChateauMiyana watermark on all my dolly photos from now on. Morning is the first guinea pig for my new idea. :)

New wig today! Hooray!

A new wig arrived at my place today for my little ones (yo-sd), and I tried it on a couple of my girls...but eventually it got snapped up by my little princess Kiyomi.

It's a Leekeworld wig called Art Mia. On the website photos, it looked to me pretty much the same style as my Green Fairy wig, but boy, was I wrong. It's sooooooo long! And the color is just gorgeous. The hair is really soft, and no wigcap issues like I had with my MSD wig.

I took some photos of the wig from various angles so I could show everyone how lovely it is!

Kiyomi's previous wig was claimed by Meron, and the Meron's wig went to Kiki. So they pretty much did a little switcheroo. I also took a couple of shots of Meron and Kiki modelling their new wigs.

Name: Miharu Chisaki "Chibi"

Age: 126 (which is fairly young for a Dryr)
Race: Dryr

Relatives: Unknown.

Personality: Very shy and reticent. She is slow when doing things because she comes from a race with a very long lifespan. She also does not like to speak unless absolutely necessary, and tends to avoid contact with others, other than Eden.

Likes: Quietness, Eden, all kinds of plants and putting flowers in her hair. 

Dislikes: Speaking, loud noises, people who cause harm to plants and people who are mean to Eden.

Not so much for me of course, but for the crew...because they have a new family member joining them tonight! The new girl is a bit of a last minute decision for me, the price and the timing were both right, so...here she is!

I absolutely adore this song. And she looks like a beautiful doll! So I thought I would share it here with all of you :) I've been playing this non-stop for the last two days!

This could totally be Kaibara's theme song! Speaking of Kai, I've been thinking of re-shelling her head (yes, the head only) into an MSD F-20...if I can find one. Wish me luck!

Spooky times.

I haven't updated my blog for the last week, I know. Here in Singapore it is now the 7th month on the Lunar calendar. The belief is that spirits are allowed to roam around freely during this period. Generally, with these things, there are people who are superstitious and those who are not. Because of this, I've kind of reached a so-called happy medium, in which I don't keep my dolls in their boxes, but neither do I take them out of my house. I take them out of the display cabinet they live in more sparingly as well, hence I have not been taking many pictures. Of course, I couldn't resist taking a few, so here I am sharing them with you.

I had round 1 of my fight with hotglue yesterday, and managed to change Kiyomi's eyes (I still have yet to get Ducky's eyes out).

 So here she is showing off her new blue eyes. Well actually they are the ones Meron was wearing before, but I put the pastel eyes back in for Meron, so now Kiyomi is using these.

Besties! Meron and Kiyomi. They took to each other really well the moment Kiyomi came home. Aren't they are sweet pair?

 And a photo of Meron alone. My gorgeous Jester girl. She's such a sassy little thing, she has so much attitude! That, and she can pull off all the stuff that nobody else can wear.

I also took some time to shoot my lovely Ducky in a mohair wig and a funky headband made by Memories Playhouse. The one Meron is wearing is made by her as well :)
