Lots of new updates!

Lots of new photos to share! On Friday I picked up the 2 new members of the family before having dinner with my bf.

I also changed Momoki's appearance (gave her the wig I had on Shiina, and gave Shiina the spare wig that came with Tomoki), to make them look even more like twins!

Took some shots of my tinies too. Shiina in his new wig, Shiyuri in a Peakswood dress (since Momoki stole her outfit) and of course my adorable twins.

New faces in the clade!

Today we have new members entering the Dollhouse. Firstly, Dante, who belongs to my friend Ash is going to move in, there is a picture of him somewhere else on this blog with Momoki. Dante is a Dollzone Mo Limited 1/3 head, hybrid with an AOD new male body. He is going to come with all his clothes as well as his carrier bag. I wasn't expecting him to join the family before my SD girls, but as things turned out, he ended up becoming my first SD doll. I guess fate does work in mysterious ways.  I always felt a connection to Dante, so when Ash put him up for sale, I decided I wanted to take him in.

Secondly, Momoki and Shiyuri are getting a new brother. Tentatively his name is Tomoki (the kanji that Nonokeu picked out for it means "friendly and curious"). He is a NS Soom Glati, and will be Momoki's twin brother. The sisters are really excited about his arrival!

New eyes!

My package from LUTS arrived yesterday, but I didn't have time to open it until now. Seriously that was fast. I got new eyes for the Souldoll Agnetha that i'm expecting, but since my tinies can wear the same size of eyes (seriously? Agnetha has ridiculously small eyes!), I decided to put the spare pair I got on Shiina, since I never did like the weird green eyes I got him with. I think he looks pretty cute with the new eye color.

"Warm Day~" Mini Photostory!

Gosh it's warm today! Time to cool off with a nice refreshing drink!

Many many little packages!

Wheeeeeeee~ Presents came in today for Shiina and Shiyuri, so I decided to do a little photoshoot with them!

Shiina got new shoes from Crobidoll (thanks Joleen!), and is no longer a "stay-at-home-boy". He is standing really well, although still not a dream to pose. I have no idea why, but the waist does some pretty odd things sometimes.

Yup, he's a born superstar.

And this....this is my "magic" box. Haha. It is a strange and wonderful collection of ribbons that I built up over the years of living in Australia. I saw it while I was picking out the stuff I wanted to bring back to Singapore and thought that hey, I could use some of this for the "kids".

Shiyuri got a new outfit (Momoki doesn't seem much interested in it, cause it ain't pink, I suppose), and she looks DANGEROUSLY ADORABLE. I did a little something to her hair, just wanted to try something different I guess. On a fun note, I stole a little Coke bottle from one of my stuffed animals to let her play around with, and now she won't relinquish it!

"Makeover!!!" and other news~

This time, not for the kids, but for the blog! I spent like 3 hours giving the Dollhouse a completely new look...and you know what? I like it. Haha. I tried to use the Dynamic interfaces that Blogger just introduced....but they were a bit too restrictive for me, made it difficult to customize all my little widgets. I now have a slideshow of my dollies from my flickr (my account name on there is Miyanahime) on the left side, which makes me really happy, for some strange reason.

Anyhoooo.....I am REALLY excited about my two incoming girls. Volks hasn't quite gotten around to telling me when they are going to ship my Megu (refer to this post), but I hope it'll be sometime soon. She's going to be named Kui-n. A japanese transliteration of the word "queen". Just because. Y'know...she is one >.> To me anyway. (Note: I was going to name her that, but ended up naming her Morning instead.)

I am even more over the moon about my other incoming girl! One of my grail/wishlist dolls: Souldoll Agnetha. It's been discontinued by Souldoll already. I love the face sculpt of Agnetha. One of the most interesting faces I've ever seen. I managed to snag her in white skin too, which I much prefer to normal skin....so I am all "YAY" about it. I bought her on ebay (This is the link to the auction). Apparently the seller already sent her out on the 18th, so I hope she'll be arriving soon! I don't quite like her faceup, but that's the least of my worries right now.

In any case, LOOK AT THE TIME! It's already nearly 4am. Geez. I need to go to bed or I'll never make it to work on time tomorrow morning.

Gloomy Attack

The eternally empty wallet...

Gosh, I am such a hoarder....and this hobby is a killer because I can't seem to resist pretty things! Must. Not. Google. Any. More. Dolls.

Anyway, I realised the number of layaways I have is WAY over my budget...so I had to let one go. Yikes. Anyhow, I gave up on getting the Tan Soom Ender I wanted. At 1450 USD, even to me it's very expensive. And since I have to choose, I prefer the girl sculpts of course. I wouldn't dream of letting go any of my existing family to pay for him, so too bad.

However, on an irritated note, the person who is selling the Souldoll Agnetha on "Evilbay" (as I saw someone refer to it yesterday. Quite apt, methinks.) is certainly trying to make it difficult for me to buy her. Agnetha is not a popular sculpt though, so I'm hoping that no one else is interested in her. >.>

Makeover!

All the kids got new wigs yesterday, and they look plenty adorable! Even though it pretty much blew a hole in my pocket, I couldn't say no after seeing how much they loved their new looks. Shiyuri has been restrung and is as chirpy as ever. Shiina is pretty overjoyed to have him back home. Anyway, pictures soon!

Meguuuuuuu!

I am so excited! I just ordered this from the Volks International website today! Hopefully it doesn't get here while I'm away >.> Anyway, apparently the SD16 version of Megu (and any of the other Four Sisters sculpts for that matter) is not popular compared to the SD10 and the Yo-Megu. But personally, it's the ONLY Volks doll I have any kind of liking for. It's probably going to be my only one.

When I saw her on the website (without lottery) I literally went SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I MUST GET IT! And then reality set in...and I realized there was no way I could buy it before the event was over. Why? Because I don't get my pay for another 2 weeks, and only the bank knows when my credit card limit will be reset. So anyway...After agonizing over it for an entire night, I decided to take the plunge and ask my parents to lend me money. Anyway, that went something like this:

Me: Mum, can I...borrow some money?

Mum: What do you need it for?

Me:....*quietly* A doll.

Mum: A DOLL? HOW MUCH?

Me: *even more quietly* 1,700 dollars.

Mum: WHAT?!!!!?!!

Me: Err...it's...limited edition.

Mum: *repeats*....limited...edition.

-Awkward silence-

Mum: ....Ask your dad.

Me: Err Dad...

Dad: What?

Mum: YOUR DAUGHTER WANTS MONEY TO BUY A DOLL. A. LIMITED. DOLL. *emphasis*

Dad: ...A doll? How much is it?

Me: *cowering* ...1,700 dollars...

Dad: *silence*

Me: *thinking "OH SHIT!"*

Dad: *silence continues*

Me: *thinking "Oh God, I am so dead..."*

Dad: ....only one right?

Me: Huh? Yea, only one. *ray of hope appears*

Dad: The credit card I gave you? You maxed it out already?

Me: Uh...I pretty much maxed it out paying my course fees.

Dad: Go borrow your mum's credit card then.

Me: *YIPPEEEEEEEE, HAPPY DANCE*

Mum: *expression of complete disbelief*

Hurt. Like. Hell.

Been running around all day, from place to place. Left Shiyuri at Alice's shop to get him restrung, the poor boy. :( Shiina misses him alot. He is definitely not happy with me for letting Shiyuri get into that state. I'm sorry Shi-chan! T_T

Met up with Jade and Ash today. Momoki surprisingly hit off well with Jade's Miyuki. They are both really quiet. She also doesn't seem to mind "Boyfriend" too much.

Momoki is a pretty strange child, rather like me I suppose. I adore her very much.

Last night, she also decided that Mr. Bromley would double up as her bed. They are pretty adorable together, huh?

Oh dear...

On a not so good note...Shiyuri has had an accident of sorts. While trying to change his clothes this afternoon, I managed to make him come unstrung (well, one of his legs, at any rate), and well...I have no idea how to put it back on. So my poor boy currently only has one leg. I put him away in a carrier with all the parts so I wouldn't lose any of them...but Shiina is already starting to get a bit antsy not having Yuri-chan with him...

Fingers crossed that Yuri-chan will get a fix soon.

Squeeeeee~!

I saw a Fairyland Pukifee PongPong this morning and I thought "OMG! I MUST HAVE IT!" I feel like I just NEED TO wake up everyday and look into that adorable smiley face. And the sleeping faceplate just kills me. Must. Get. One. Most adorable thing...ever.

Another "must-get" is one of these RIDICULOUSLY DELIGHTFUL outfits for pukifee/lati yellow size. (Takeru: TAKE-CHAN WANT BUNNY OUTFIT NAO MAMA! *insert cute face*) The sheep outfit is adorable too, and I can already see it on my future-PongPong-to-be.

However, as the story goes...I have no money. My boss has left on a week long trip to Japan (having forgotten to hand me last month's paycheck), and I will be in Australia the week after. So, it will be two weeks before my frighteningly empty wallet gets a much-needed refill.

My wishlist for BJDs seems to be growing longer and longer.

Also...I got Soomed. Again. Just when I thought I got all the Sooms I wanted (Alk and Glot), I discovered...Ender. That face + those abs. Another "must-have". Honestly, it hasn't been easy for me to find a male sculpt that I like. Other than "boyfriend" that is.

Someone just posted up a Leekeworld wig G.O. on the BJD forums...I am so tempted to get a new wig for Momoki (a pink one!). Most likely it will be this one. It has the kind of half wild, half ethereal look that I was trying to give Momoki. To get or not to get, that is the question. In any case I am about to buy this most adorable Kim0no set for her. Pictures soon.
