Soooomed!

Took all my little Soomlings out to take a group photo before Neru goes awayyyy. Gosh darn it, you have no idea how hard it is to get them all to stand at the same time. And if one falls down, it's like dominoes! They all go down! But y'know...they are just freaking adorable. And never fail to make me smile.

 Sitting is much easier though! Although...the flash on iphone is pretty horrid. But still, aren't they cute?

Just some quick random updates.

Morning has new eyes! They are so pretty! They are Urethane from a dealer on Y!J but I got them from a friend locally.

This is Mizuki (aka Mizzy), my Volks SWD White Rabbit. I got her from Sary, and she has a faceup by PropertyoftheUchiha.

And the latest addition to the Chateau is Mihana, a Soom Human Ver. Minette. She's adorable!

The seller shipped me Mihana in her original Soom box...covered in tape! It was a godly nightmare to remove all the tape!

Other random news:

A friend's sister has joined the BJD hobby! This is her first doll, Yuki. :) 

And also, I got Elune a new hat (It's actually for Blythe, but the hat fits her!). Isn't it just precious?

Another Farewell.

I shipped Takeru out two days ago. Out of all the dolls I let go...Takeru has been with me the longest. Even so, I've been preparing to part with him for quite a while. There was a period of time when he used to travel everywhere with me. But he soon became overshadowed by bigger dolls. I never ended up liking his size, and never got any others of that size. In the end, he didn't fit in anymore, so I decided to let him go.

Here's to you, my little bunny-lover friend. Hope you find a much better place.

Work In Progress...

So much custom work is in progress for my resin kids. Been all over the place looking for people who can create what I need to complete each look. For now the only one I feel is really close to being complete is Kaibara, her faceup, wig and eyes are already done. As for the rest...

Mori - Something doesn't sit right with me when it comes to Mori...But at the moment, I have no idea what to do with her, so she will stay as is.

Morning - I sent her off to the face-up artist recently, and her face-up has been completed. I am very happy with it. Attempting to commission a wig to go with it. Speaking of her face-up, I am very impressed with it.

Morning's new face-up, by a local face-up artist, Allemarthe (Likhang Mukha Aesthetics). The eyes are her original eyes (which I plan to change) and the wig belongs to the artist.

Elune - I already love her face-up, so unless something does happen to it, I'm going to leave it. Have yet to find a wig or an outfit than I feel will really suit her, but I already have an idea of what kind of look I'm aiming for.

Dante - Bleh. I don't hate his face-up...actually, I do.  I hate it very much. Honestly, as much as I love him, I have to admit that I am purely keeping him due to emotional attachment rather than any love for his look. Can't decide what to do about him.

Kaibara - She's amazing. Her face-up is amazing and her wig and eyes are amazing. She just needs some shoes really.

As for the little ones: I am quite settled with Momo and Tomo...I probably won't make any changes to these two anytime soon. The rest that I have decided to keep face-ups for are Yuri, Yume and Mizzy. Akari is out for re-face...I may redo his face-up if I don't like it (Oh wait, I forgot he's become a her now!). I haven't even half figured out what to do with Asako, and I don't feel like changing Shiina due to sentimental reasons.

So that's that for now.

Farewell, Roselle.

I only put my Leekeworld Iris up on DOA for 2 hours (it got taken down due to the doll being considered as off-topic), but someone took notice of it. And now she's sold. The buyer even paid the full price upfront. Because she seemed so excited about having another Iris (she already has one in Lovely B Skin), I decided to give in to her request to underdeclare the package and also absorbed half the shipping fee. This way, at least I can guarantee that Rose will be going to a good home with someone who will really adore her.
